Nakhal Waterfall : A seasonal fall near Kawant
Hello all,
Okay, so if you are not a road trip fan, you enjoy waterfalls just to take a dip or bathe, or you just don’t love waterfalls immensely, then this might not be for you. Why? Because you have to drive nearly three hours. You can’t take a dip in the plunge pool, as the water is deep, and in the peak monsoon, it is murky, too!
But…
But…
The fantabulous drive to Chhota Udepur is through green hillocks and fields, with occasional slight drizzle and sometimes horrid rain. The serene atmosphere and calm vibes are amazing!
The fall is the Mini version of Gira Falls of Dang! There was a tar road till the end, but we parked our car in village Manka, 1.5 km ahead, because the streets were narrow and muddy, so we didn’t want a chance to repeat our history of Dharsimel Falls!
You can view the falls from the top, and you can get down also. Just sit there and enjoy the view! Water was muddy and turbid due to recent heavy rainfall. When we went there, it was drizzling. Satva was listening to his music with closed eyes! Sheel sat there silently with his feet dipped in water, and I and Shaurya were discussing our most important topic nowadays! What shall be his choice of career? Moments like these make us realize how fast kids grow. His vision about his career choice is different, and he is trying to think of all possible opportunities. But our answer is always the same at the end of every discussion (we are doing a lot of them nowadays on this topic). Let’s not go ahead with ourselves. We will go with the flow , and we will decide later! And my fingers are crossed for the same. 
Points to consider:
- The roads are very narrow once you take a turn for Nakhal village.
- Please don’t litter
- Water is deep here, so don’t go inside without consulting any villagers.
- It is a seasonal waterfall.
Distance from Vadodara : 124 km, 2 hours 40 minutes.

Yes! we were mesmerised by Rajpipla in monsoon but this arae around Chhota Udepur is equally beautiful…
